With nearly unlimited configuration possibilities and a variety of options and finishes, the Modern + PanelX desking collection will shape your environment to suit personal preferences while delivering a cohesive look throughout your organization.
PanelX is a modular desk-mounted divider system that is vertically stacked to provide privacy. The dividers can be added onto Modern Series worksurfaces to provide visual privacy between work areas. Utilize a mixture of Modern Series desking and PanelX dividers to create an architectural framework that allows for 360 degree planning flexibility. In addition, divider inserts can be easily reconfigured to adapt to a multitude of space requirements. Best of all, PanelX is simple to specify, install, and add on.
The Modern + PanelX system favors collaborative workspaces while simultaneously providing personal space for each individual. With privacy coverage from seated to standing height, each space can be adapted to the needs of any user. There is an extensive variety of panel insert options (textile, laminate, whiteboard, slatwall, glazed) to maximize design capabilities. Modern's ability to easily shift between focused individual tasks and shared group tasks provides an optimal balance of efficiency and productive communication. Choose from a combination of desking, panel, and storage components to create collaborative work environments for a variety of applications.
Modern + PanelX desking supports LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) guidelines that recommend natural light and air circulation in commercial interiors. Open U-style support bases permit healthy air flow beneath and between workstations. Options, such as clear polycarbonate or frosted acrylic divider inserts, support a more transparent workspace.
Modern Features:
- Various laminate finishes with two-tone combinations available, a variety of textiles, and glazed panel options.
- Tops are available 1" and 1.5" thicknesses.
- Grommets and wire managers keep cables hidden and out of view, while providing a fast and controlled method of distributing power.
- Mini-Port modules provide easy plug-in capability for power and data connections.
- Power modules and interconnecting cables may be placed below work surfaces to keep wiring hidden from view.
- Notches in half gables allow for easy connectivity and distribution of power between multiple workstations.
- GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality and GREENGUARD Gold Certified for a healthier environment, and meets the requirements for low-emitting materials LEED credit 4.5.
PanelX Features:
- System includes 90°, 120°, and 135° post connections, allowing for maximum planning flexibility.
- Privacy options from seated to standing height, allowing each space to be adapted to the needs of any user.
- Inserts can be vertically stacked to provide varying degrees of privacy.
- Aluminum posts are available in a Black or Silver finish.
- Inserts are available in five materials: fabric, laminate, ribbed polycarbonate (clear or bronze finish), whiteboard, and slatwall (Black or Silver finish).
- Fabric, laminate, ribbed poly, and whiteboard, inserts are available in eight heights (6", 12", 15", 18", 21", 24", 30", and 36").
- Aluminum slatwall inserts are available in 6" height and are stackable up to 36" high.
- Tackable fabric inserts are available in a variety of fabric options, including C.O.M. (customer’s own material) textiles upon request.
- Aluminum beams are available in 12 standard widths: 6", 18", 24", 30", 36", 42", 48", 54", 60", 66", 72", and 78".
- To manage above-worksurface lighting and wiring, each post provides built-in wire management.
